very polite and helpful went and took a look at the car i was interested in on a saturday afternoon,let us have good look around on our own and then ran through all the details of the car with us , i left a deposit on the car as i was unavailable to purchase that day ,they put the car through an MOT during the week (passed no problem) went back following week took car for test drive and drove home in my new car .very nice not pushy new what they were talking about.

Thought I'd take a minute to write a review on my recent experience dealing with James. After searching online for a car I came across one locally with, they couldn't of been more helpful, offered to bring the car to me as I would of struggled to get to them as I was without transport and with a young child. The Car was even better than described and after a test drive I left a deposit and the car was delivered the following day. The whole experience was excellent and I never once felt under any pressure to buy the car.

Went to view an Audi a4 that on arrival had clearly had some front end damage that had been repaired poorly, spoke to the sales man and said we weren't interested in that vehicle anymore due to the condition but would have a look around at a few others, the salesman proceeded to argue with us that we had no clue what we were on about and that he clearly was of the mindset he knew more, after viewing a few other vehicles we asked to test drive a passat but were told we had to pay a deposit of £300 first and he wanted to get it serviced before we could test drive it, we decided we weren't interested in doing that so said we give it a miss, he said that was no problem and proceeded to yet again state that he was still right about the audi....In the 9 years I've personally been in the motor trade on the tools professionally carrying out mechanical and body repair work can say I've never been so disgusting with the attitude of a so called car salesman, you sir are the reason you get a bad name.

Thankyou for taking the time to write a review. We have since spoken to the salesman on the day who has made us aware of the facts regarding this matter. To be clear we do not sell "damaged" vehicles, all our vehicles are HPI clear and checked over prior to advertising. A member of the group who turned up to view the vehicle tried to suggest the vehicle is a write off / had front end accident damaged because the bonnet of the vehicle had a small amount of lacquer fade in its center which was most likely the result of a previous poor paint job to rectify stone chips etc but acceptable wear and tear on what is a 12 year old used vehicle. There is no further damage present on this vehicle. Our salesman offered to have a member of the bodyshop who was working that day come across the estate to take a closer look and alleviate any concerns you had, however once this was suggested you quickly back tracked and admitted it might not of been accident damaged after all....It was at this point our salesman was not happy to entertain several other test drives you then requested without a refundable deposit to ensure his time wasn't going to be wasted any further. Its a shame that some people will go out of there way to try to hurt an independent dealership by writing a false & negative review despite not even purchasing anything, fortunately we have years of successful trading behind us with over 300 cars sold ever year with many happy customers with little to no bad feedback / reviews.
